I am the current Secretary of the NCHHWS and have started this blog to try to interest others in Heavy Horses.
The Society was formed in early 1994 by a few friends. Since that time the society has grown to some 50 members.
The Society holds a Spring Working Day and a Ploughing Match with a Heavy Horse Show every year.
