Unfortunately we haven't been able to arrange a venue in our usual area of Ormskirk for this event. We are actively trying to book a suitable location for the Ploughing Match and I will post details of these if and when we can arrange something.
I am the current Secretary of the NCHHWS and have started this blog to try to interest others in Heavy Horses.
The Society was formed in early 1994 by a few friends. Since that time the society has grown to some 50 members.
The Society holds a Spring Working Day and a Ploughing Match with a Heavy Horse Show every year.
